Accommodations

Students and visiting scholars can stay at the campus of the Schiller Coastal Studies Center in cabin rooms or a small self-catering cottage.

Three 1,800-square-foot cabins, with six bedrooms, and a 950-square-foot cottage were also designed to passive house standards. The cabins were built for undergraduate students or visiting scholars.

The cabins are also available to Bowdoin student organizations and athletic teams for retreats. Past users include: Bowdoin RISE, Purity Pact Comedy, the Bowdoin Korean Student Union, and WBOR. Groups using cabins can also book the LLC or Farmhouse.

The small cottage has two bedrooms and three beds, and can host longer-term researchers and their families.
