This summer, three Bowdoin students are contributing to the common good by analyzing the consequences of US trade policy, sharing the stories of soldiers whose sacrifices shaped the nation, and preparing for a career protecting lives on the water.

  As Supreme Court Justices, Two Bowdoin Alumni Impact Racial History of the US

  While researching the history of Bowdoin College, Roger Howell Jr. Professor of History Emeritus Allen Wells came across two Bowdoin graduates who served on the US Supreme Court six decades apart and who were both involved in landmark legal cases affecting the history of race relations in the US.
