Star photographs from the National Geographic Society-Palomar Sky Survey (1958) are shown alongside a series of recent drawings by Dorothea Rockburne inspired by her study of astronomy. This exhibition complements Past Futures: Science Fiction, Space Travel, and Postwar Art of the Americas and Dorothea Rockburne: A Gift of Knowing and is organized in collaboration with the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Bowdoin College.
